About This Adventure

Embark on a thrilling 3-hour snowmobile adventure through Alaska's breathtaking winter wilderness. Guided by experts, explore the historic Iditarod trail and experience both groomed and off-trail terrains. Perfect for all skill levels, this unforgettable journey promises stunning views of Denali and the chance to enhance your snowmobiling skills.

About:

Some people call it a snowmobile, and others call it a snowmachine. SAGA calls it fun! Experience Alaska's winter wilderness with your thumb on the throttle as a SAGA guide leads the way. Join us for a 3-hour tour in the backcountry of Alaska along groomed and ungroomed trails, through the snow-shrouded woods and more adventurous off-trail areas. This trip is perfect for beginners and experienced riders with opportunities to grow your skills, get off, and play in the powder. This tour travels along the historic Iditarod trail and has the best views of Denali anywhere. This trip has something for everyone. Tours depart daily at 10:00 am and 1 pm all winter long and includes everything you need for a perfect day.

Cancellation Policy:

Note: *Cancellation requests 7 days prior to the start of your tour will receive a full refund. There is a $50 per reservation rescheduling fee for group sizes with 8 or less guests. Larger parties can reach out for additional details. Rescheduling is based upon availability.

  • Cancellation requests 3-6 days prior to the start of your tour will receive 50% refund less any booking fees or taxes. Rescheduling fees apply and rescheduling is based on availability.
  • Cancellation requests less than 3 days prior to the start of your tour or failure to show up for your tour will result in no refund or rescheduling option.
  • Bookings made within the 3-day window prior to the start of a tour are not eligible for refunds or rebooking.
  • Same day bookings are not eligible for refunds, rebooking or Travel Cancellation Protection.
  • Rescheduling is first come, first serve and based entirely on availability.
  • Rescheduled bookings are not eligible for refund or rescheduling a 2nd time.
  • Please note that canceled flights, illness, etc. are not exceptions to our cancellation policy.
  • If the tour is canceled by Snowhook Adventure Guides of Alaska due to weather or any other force majeure, the reserving party will receive a full refund.

We schedule our guides based upon our bookings 7-14 days in advance, which means late cancellations impact our company, individual guides and their families. We strongly advise purchasing travel insurance from another vendor for your upcoming visit if you decide not to use our Worry-Free Travel Cancellation Protection.
