Spirits of the River - Mansions & Inns

Join our storyteller for a creepy night on the banks of the haunted Pocomoke River. Snow Hill has six mansions, 2 Inns, a museum and Town Hall all associated with ghosts and hauntings.

See and hear about the haunted Snow Hill Inn - the Eastern Shore’s most haunted property and its only haunted site to be featured on national television. Hear your storyteller recount the tales of spirits associated with the Great Pocomoke River - known for its black water and the many lives it has claimed.

• SITES ON THE SNOW HILL GHOST WALK include the sites mentioned above as well as the Julia A. Purnell Museum, the Collins Vincent House and Whatcoat Cemetery.

MEETING PLACE: Meet at the Town Hall on Bank and Green Streets.

TIME & WEATHER: Ghost Walk begins on time. We walk in all kinds of weather except heavy rain and thunderstorms. Dress for the weather and be aware that each ghost walk takes at least 1.5 hours and covers between 1.6 miles.

• Bring your umbrella if it looks like rain

• Bring a flashlight.
• Bring your camera.

TIPS / GRATUITIES: Cost of ticket does not include gratuity. Please give your guide a tip if you think she or he has done well and offered an informative and entertaining experience.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Full refund will be given if cancellation is made 48 hours prior to the tour’s start. If cancellation is NOT made within 48 hours of the tour, no refunds will be given. However, all registrations are transferable, so feel free to allow a friend or family member to attend in your place. Just give them your order voucher and let us know who is coming in your place.
