Snorkeling is an activity suitable to everyone, ideal for those who never wore a diving mask but wonder what’s down there! It is the gateway to the world of diving and the easiest way to get closer to the local fauna and observe their behaviour; by wearing your mask, snorkel and fins, you will discover the secrets of the sea. The activity involves a snorkeling trip with a marine biologist equipped with teaching aids to identify the differents species and describe the diverse habitat. The routes are accessible to everyone and allow the exploration of the seabed and the rocky enviroments made out of caves and ravines. You will not only be learning about biology but also about the history and traditions of the area. You will meet your instructor in San Terenzo, close to Lerici, where you will be provided with the equipment and a brief introduction to this experience. Afterwards, you will be reaching Porto Venere – where the activity will be taking place - and its Marine Protected Area (MPA) on a rubber boat. At the end of the tour, you will be brought back to San Terenzo.
