Selkie Snorkels builds a bridge of accessibility between people and the underwater world of Southeast Alaska.

We provide a full set of state-of-the-art 7mm wetsuits and snorkel kit to make sure you stay warm. Our experienced and knowledgeable guides will lead you for a snorkel tour among the kelp forests.

Sheetʼká Kwaan (Sitka) is unique among towns in Southeast Alaska because it is located on the Outer Coast. The open ocean brings currents, waves, and pelagic creatures which create an incredible underwater world of extreme biodiversity and abundance.

What to bring

  • A swimsuit to wear under your wetsuit (or underwear you don’t mind getting wet).
  • A plastic bag for wet swimsuits
  • A dry set of underwear
