Operated by taxiGo DMC · Rovinj, Istria County
You push off from Rovinj’s small port and the town’s terra-cotta roofs slide astern. Sea spray cools the air as the boat threads the channel toward Lim Bay, whose steep, forested cliffs rise like pages of folded rock and dare the current to change. Light plays on the water — a constant, quiet motion that invites you to drop fins and breathe through a snorkel.
easy.
3 hours.
Suitable for most fitness levels; basic swimming comfort required for snorkeling stops
The tour departs from Rovinj port with pickup and drop-off included from the cruise port area.
No—basic swimming comfort is enough; guides will assist and you can stay on the boat if you prefer.
Visibility is generally good, especially in summer and early fall, often 5–15 meters depending on conditions.
Many operators provide basic snorkel gear, but bringing your own ensures better fit and comfort.
Lim Bay has been used for aquaculture and maritime trade for centuries; its name derives from 'limes' used historically for grazing and lime production along the coast.
The bay is a sensitive marine area—follow skipper guidance, avoid touching seabed life, and use reef-safe products to reduce local impact.
