You arrive at the overlook as spray from the Snoqualmie River dares you closer — a vertical, thundering drop framed by Douglas fir and moss-dark rock. The tour opens here: a short loop and, for those who want, a 1.3-mile descent toward the riverbank where the falls reveal their raw, glacial-carved bowl.
easy.
6 hours.
Basic mobility and the ability to walk short uneven sections; suitable for most fitness levels
The itinerary includes a stop at Chateau Ste. Michelle plus a tasting-room area with at least five wineries to choose from; your group selects which to enter.
The main Snoqualmie Falls overlook and the van are wheelchair-accessible, but the lower 1.3-mile trail to the river is steep and uneven and may not be suitable for wheelchairs.
Tasting fees are generally not included; some wineries waive fees with bottle purchases — plan to pay fees or purchases at individual tasting rooms.
Pickups and drop-offs are arranged in the Seattle area or a nearby hotel/airport address specified at booking; confirm exact pickup point when you reserve.
The falls have long been important to the Snoqualmie people and later powered early 20th-century hydroelectric plants that served the Seattle area.
Visitors are asked to stay on trails to protect riparian vegetation; several local wineries participate in sustainable farming and water-conservation practices.
