About This Adventure

Duration & Suitability

*1-2 hours total, no rush. *Children under 12 years of age are free with an adult. *All Ages are welcome, children under 2 years won't be allowed inside the dog yard, but can visit a couple of dogs on leashes.

About

Come join us at our homestead and kennel for a true Alaskan experience! You'll get to visit our 20 traditional Alaskan Huskies in the dog yard. If that sounds a little too rambunctious for you, then we have the option to relax with a couple of older dogs in our Arctic Oven Tent. You may be able to help get a meal prepared for the dogs, or see how we spin dog hair into yarn to make clothing. You'll discover how people in the Arctic thrive, even in winter, living out of a wood stove heated tent. This visit will always come with stories from us about living in Alaska with good dogs!

Facts

Our dogs are well behaved but can be boisterous, slobbery, and of course HAIRY! Please wear appropriate clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, and closed-toe shoes. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
