Most Slovenian wine production falls under the classification of premium. Viticulture and winemaking has existed in this region since the time of the Celt and Illyrian tribes, long before the Romans introduced winemaking to France, Spain and Germany. A 2016 DNA study showed that two red grape varietals, Blaufränkisch and Blauer Portugieser, originated in Slovenia.

2 - classes that do not meet a minimum of 6 participants.

The call to cancel a class is made on the Thursday before each class. Please do not make overnight reservations or reserve activities in the area that are contingent on Little Washington Winery’s ability to provide a class.
If a class must be cancelled due to lack of participation or for severe weather, Little Washington Winery honors class tickets by:
— Providing the opportunity to reschedule class tickets to any Little Washington Winery class on any future date.
