You start on the back of a comfortable UTV, the valley opening beneath you like a coin turned on its edge. The ride drops you at the trailhead where a local guide checks boots and water, then the walking begins—up a well-marked path that climbs through secondary forest, across small streams, and past planted orchids and bromeliads.
