Recommended gear

Comfortable walking shoes: Supportive shoes are useful for short paved walks and terrace surfaces at the summit.
Light jacket or windbreaker: Higher elevation and sea breeze make the summit cooler; a wind layer keeps you comfortable.
Compact camera or zoom lens: A zoom helps capture skyline details and distant islands from viewing platforms.
Portable umbrella or compact rain jacket: Hong Kong’s summer showers can arrive quickly — pack a small rain layer for sudden downpours.
