The wind cuts across the Jakobshorn bowl, lifting up skiers and a thin ribbon of color—the paraglider wing—until both lift free of the snow. You stand with skis on, shoulder to shoulder with your pilot, feeling the slope push beneath your boots for a few meters and then the quiet yank of flight as Davos opens beneath you.
