About

This eco-friendly tour of Skagway is like no other experience around! Your tour starts at Klondike Electric Bicycles where you will join us for a self-guided e-bike experience through Skagway. Over the course of 3 hours, you will visit a waterfall, scenic vistas, and the Gold Rush Cemetery…all while learning the history behind this historic Gold Rush town.

Your E-Bike Tour will end at the Small Boat Harbor, where you’ll meet Capt. Brendan and board the 50’ sailing sloop Hopscotch!

Once you board the sailing vessel, it will be time to explore the very northern section of the Inside Passage! The Taiya Inlet is the longest and deepest fjord in North America, making it one of the most beautiful places to sail on earth. You will sail past waterfalls and hanging glaciers…AND if you are lucky, we may even see eagles, whales, and seals! Boxed picnic lunches are provided at the time of your bike pick up.

Once your expedition is completed, the sailing vessel Hopscotch will return to the Skagway Small Boat Harbor, where you will say farewell to Captain Brendan and his crew. The small boat harbor is a short walking (or shuttle drive) to town or your ship!

Guests will receive light snacks on board the sailboat.

For this tour to operate, there needs to be a minimum of 2 guests with a maximum of 6 guests.

Operation of this tour is weather dependent and is under the discretion of the tour operators. We will make every effort to ensure guest safety and as such may need to cancel due heavy wind conditions. If tour is cancelled due to weather, you will receive a full refund.
