Meet the Captain and boat:
Captain Garrett is a Florida native who grew up fishing and learning to navigate Florida's backcountry and inter- coastal waterways. He has a U.S. Coast Guard six pack captain license which allows him to pursue his passion of sharing his love, respect, and knowledge of Florida's pristine coasts.
You'll board a 22"" Pathfinder center console bay boat and head out from beautiful Seminole boat ramps in Clearwater, Florida. I will provide you with your gear, as well as all the necessary fishing licenses. There's ice-cold water on board, as well as plenty of ice storage for any additional drinks and snacks you choose to bring.
This trip is ideal trips for beginners looking to learn the basics of fishing. With this option, you're able to target a specific species you're looking to catch. However, the captain recommends a 4-hour trip or longer to improve your experience and make memories that will last a lifetime.
We'll provide water, but feel free to bring any other food and beverages.
Getting to the marina at least 15 minutes before your trip allows for a relaxed start and safety briefing.
Apply sunscreen, wear a wide-brimmed hat, and bring sunglasses to stay comfortable during bright sunny conditions.
Monitor the forecast before your trip; some weather patterns can impact fishing conditions or trip safety.
Wear lightweight, moisture-wicking clothing and bring a light jacket for potential wind or cooler temperatures.
