About

Non-powered (No Electricity). The dimensions are 5m long x 4m wide. Site 22 is a gravel spot suitable for a small sized campervan or a Roof Top Tent. Located at the end of the campground, this is often one of quietest sites, overlooking the Waikite Valley Thermal Reserve. It is approximately 100m to the facilities and geothermal pools and is the ideal spot for a self-contained experience.

  • Pools begin to drain at 7.15pm and are closed at 8pm
  • Reception Hours are 10am to 7.30pm.
  • Check in is 2pm unless you purchase an early check in when booking.
  • Check out is at 11am.
  • Sorry no Wifi Available and cellphone reception is limited.
  • $4 washed and Dryers ($2 coins only). Soap power is available at reception
  • No dump station on site. Closest is Rotorua.
  • Drying Shed is located near site 12.
  • Absolutely no drones
  • No pets during public holidays (long weekends) or peak season (1st December - 31st January).
  • All persons must wear swim wear appropriate for public bathing.
  • Children must be actively supervised at all times.

CAFE

  • Open for coffee and hot food from 11.30am - 6pm. Hours are subject to change based on busyness of the complex.
  • Menu available on request.

No smoking or vaping permitted in campground within any part of the complex at any time. Smoking permitted main driveway area only.

Site 22 is a non-powered site, so bring your own lighting and battery backups for essential devices.

Pack Swimwear for Thermal Pools

All bathers must wear appropriate swimwear to enjoy the natural geothermal pools included with your stay.
