You step out before dawn on a red dirt road that climbs toward the rim above Sipi — coffee terraces to your left, the river daring you from below. The tallest cascade drops roughly 100m; two more follow at about 85m and 75m, each with narrow trails that thread switchbacks and rocky ledges. By late afternoon, the view opens to Mount Elgon’s eroded flanks and wide East African plains.
