Our family friendly guided Herbal Tea and Tropical Fruit Tasting Combination walking farm tour takes about two hours. During the tour, you will see first hand how dragon fruit, pineapple, sour sop, papaya, etc. are grown here in Hawaii and learn about the organic practices that help the fruit taste so delicious! Discover some of the plants the Hawaiian people brought with them when they first came to these islands. All this while enjoying breath-taking views of the Pacific Ocean and the West Maui Mountains.
The herbal tea tour will feature two main indigenous Hawaiian herbal tea plants: the "Uhaloa" and the "Mamaki". Both have great medicinal benefits and great soothing taste. It also introduces a variety of other herbal tea plants grown on the farm.
Visitors will then take a stroll through the beautiful grounds, where they can admire the majestic West Maui Mountains, its rich Hawaiian culture, its plantation history and the cultivation of various exotic fruit plants. The tour concludes with a visit to the Tea House, where visitors can sample a variety of teas, including Mamaki, Uhaloa, Soursop and other types of tropical herbal teas. Light snacks will be offered to accompany the tea tasting. Our Tea House is a serene and beautiful spot that provides an excellent opportunity to relax and enjoy a cup of tea while taking in the stunning panoramic ocean views of the Pacific and surrounding islands.
