About This Adventure

Embark on an exhilarating Sintra Jeep Safari, exploring the UNESCO World Heritage area in vintage 4x4s. Discover the enchanting Quinta da Regaleira, savor traditional Portuguese cuisine, and visit Cabo da Roca, Europe’s westernmost point. Enjoy off-road adventures, secret lookouts, and local delicacies, all while creating unforgettable memories.

This is a twin tour of "SINTRA JEEP SAFARI" but includes the pick up in Lisbon :)

THIS JOURNEY IS FOR…

Those who want to “squeeze all the juice” out of Sintra. Drink up the best of the UNESCO World Heritage area and Sintra-Cascais Natural Park in just one day.

Our jeeps can take up to 7 people

Climb aboard our vintage Portuguese 4x4s and tackle the best of the Sintra region. In just one day you’ll explore the mysterious Quinta da Regaleira and eat a traditional Portuguese lunch (with wine, of course) before cruising off-road through Sintra’s lush forests, to emerge at the seaside cliffs of mainland Europe’s westernmost point, Cabo da Roca.

Our restored ex-military 4WDs look cool as hell, sure, but they’re also the best way to tackle the terrain west of Lisbon, passing from hilltop castles to the sheer coastline of the UNESCO world heritage landscape. We take you to secret lookouts and hidden beaches no other tourists can reach, blasting music the whole time. In summer, feel the breeze whip through your hair as we bounce along off-road tracks with the roof off. In the cooler months we keep the roof on, turn the music up, splash through puddles of mud as we swerve past house-sized boulders, pine forests and giant ferns.

Our adventures are about the journey, not just the destination. This is why we love to go off-road, snap Polaroid pictures at the coast, play epic tunes all day long and give you the chance to taste Sintra’s traditional sweet pastry and homemade liqueur.

We want you to finish your day feeling like you really know the place. Join us for an unforgettable day of adventure, laughs and local legends.

ITINERARY

Stop one Start the day at Quinta da Regaleira, an historic palace and lush gardens filled with mystery, metaphors and underground passages. Stop two We’ll stop at a few unnamed, epic lookouts on the way to lunch at a traditional Portuguese restaurant in one of our villages – expect fresh, grilled fish or meat with plenty of vinho! Where we go changes depending on the day (and what the special dishes of the day are, plus dietary needs of course). Stop three Welcome to the edge of the earth: Cabo da Roca. The stunning cliffs and lighthouse mark the westernmost point on mainland Europe. Stop four Soak in the stunning coastline as we take the scenic route past famous Guincho Beach towards the beautiful fishing village of Cascais. Adventure Tips

Wear sturdy shoes

Layer your clothing

Weather near the coast can shift quickly, so bring layers you can add or remove throughout the day.

Hydrate before and during the trip
