The tour begins at the river access ramp by passing under a bridge and through a canopy of large mature landscaping. You will visit the main spring as well as multiple locations of interest along the river before returning to the same access ramp to exit the river at the end of the tour. (ALL GUEST(S) are REQUIRED to arrive 30-35 minutes before reservation time). Upon arrival at the park please proceed to the back of the parking lot (near the grassy area/kayak staging) and register with the Silver Springs State Park at their River Access Kiosk to purchase required park passes. Before hitting the river all customers must verify they have registered with Silver Springs State Park in order to gain access to the ramp for the tour. After registering with the State Park please make sure to check-in with your tour guide. They will verify your river access and provide helpful tips and instructions on kayaking, wildlife viewing, and safety protocol.
Each clear kayak is equipped with a “Dry Bag” -a large waterproof bag for personal items, customers may use during the tour. While preparing to board our clear kayaks all customers not wearing approved water shoes will be required to remove their shoes and place them in a “Dry Bag” or leave them at the access ramp. Once all kayaks and customers are back ashore dry bags should be emptied.
