About This Adventure

Embark on an intimate 7-hour wine tour through the stunning Derwent and Coal River Valleys. Sample exquisite wines from four handpicked vineyards, savor local produce during lunch, and learn about the region's rich history. Enjoy round-trip transportation and a cozy atmosphere with a maximum of six guests for a memorable experience.

We have hand-picked and personally sampled each wine from every Vineyard that we will visit.

Discover the scenic beauty and flavours of the Derwent & Coal River Valley's, sample amazing wines from these 2 regions. Join us as we stroll through beautiful vineyards and learn about the local grape varieties and rich history of the areas. On this small group tour, we will visit 4 different vineyards and enjoy samples of some of the region’s best wines. Round-trip transportation lets you sip without worry.

Highlights:

The tour is small and intimate with a maximum of 6 guests. The tour is catered for adults only. Private driver and air-conditioned vehicle Hotel pickup & drop off within 5km of Hobart CBD This tour includes 4 vineyards for wine tasting along with a cheese board at one of our stops. There will be a lunch stop as well. Tour includes wine tastings and cheese board only in cost of tour.

Itinerary:

Pickup from your Hotel or Accommodation within 5km of Hobart CBD (approx. 9.30am) The day will start with a drive to a local family-owned vineyard to begin your introduction to the wines of the region. Through the day we will visit an additional 3 handpicked small & unique vineyards where you will experience a tasting & learn about the wines they produce. Lunch will provide you with the opportunity to sample local produce at Wattlebanks Cafe in Richmond, a beautiful historic town featuring Australia's old Bridge. Drop off at your hotel or accommodation within 5km of Hobart CBD (approx. 4.30pm)

Depending on the day of your tour, the order in which we visit the attractions will depend on availability, weather and other determining factors.

The lunch venue may change due to availability.

Water! It goes without saying really. Eat! We recommend that you have breakfast. Dress for comfort! Comfortable shoes. Sunscreen, a hat and an easy-to-carry bag are all must-haves.
