Adventure tips

Carry valid photo IDMost venues require government-issued ID for entry—bring your passport or driving licence to avoid refusals.

Pace your drinkingFour hours and a dozen stops mean long nights—hydrate between venues and eat beforehand to stay steady.

Wear comfortable shoesExpect short walks on uneven pavement and standing in crowded venues—sturdy footwear makes the route more enjoyable.

Check last Tube timesPlan your return; central London night buses run later but the Tube has limited hours on weekdays and weekends differ.

Recommended gear

Government ID (passport or driving licence): Required for entry at many bars and clubs in London.
Comfortable walking shoes: Streets and venue floors can be uneven; comfortable shoes keep you on your feet all night.
Contactless card or small cash: Most venues accept cards but small cash helps for street-food and quick purchases.
Light waterproof jacket: Useful for shoulder seasons when showers and chilly winds are common between stops.
