You step off the tourist trail with a phone in hand and the city folding around you: limestone facades, narrow alleys, and the Arno daring you to keep pace. The game drops you into a staged murder — the case of Balthasar — then hands you a string of clues disguised as city sights. As you move, the city becomes both setting and suspect; digital characters appear, coded locks click open, and simple photo tasks ask you to look twice at familiar corners.

Pisa rose as a maritime republic in the Middle Ages; many monuments and the iconic leaning campanile date to the city’s medieval prosperity.
Historic sites face wear from heavy visitation—respect barriers, avoid climbing monuments, and use public transport or walking to reduce local impact.
