You arrive at a roadside café at Qafë Perdolec mid-morning and the air tastes of hay and fresh milk. Your guide leads a narrow trail up from the road; pastures open like pages and you can hear sheep bells answering one another across ridgelines. By afternoon the summer stan — a low stone shelter and neighbouring tents — sits framed against green slopes and distant limestone crags.

You’ll stay either in a neighbouring cabin or in a tent near the family’s stan; bedding is provided but expect simple, communal conditions.
