This is a private rental for you and your group. We meet you at the location with your reserved items and provide you with directions to the destination. Delivery and pickup is included.
Shell Key is a beautiful place to paddle. The water is shallow and you can paddle through the mangrove tunnels. Your island destination has white sandy beaches. You can walk the beach, search for shells, and swim in the crystal clear water.
It's about 2 miles out to the island and 2 miles back. It's not difficult, but be prepared to paddle! Paddle out at your own pace and explore the island.
There are often dolphins and sometimes manatees. Pelicans, cormorants, and roseate spoonbills can be seen along with white pelicans in winter months. You will be immersed in wildlife.
Shell Key rentals launch from a different separate location from our spot in Treasure Island.

There is not a building at the launch point. You just park on the grass on the side of the road. It's a very popular location. We will be there with your reserved items. Delivery and pickup is included.

The round trip to Shell Key covers about 2 miles out and back—bring water and pace yourself.
Arrive early to find parking
The Tierra Verde launch point has limited roadside parking; arrive ahead of peak times to secure a spot.
