The river’s edge sharpens as you step off the park path and into a city-sized game: public art, plaques, and hidden details become checkpoints in a 90-minute pursuit. In Shelby Park the sidewalks hum with weekday dog walkers and weekend crowds, and the Let’s Roam app routes you through murals, statues, and small plaques that reward attention more than speed.

Moderate — suitable for people who can walk 3–5 miles at an easy pace with short stops
No — this is self-guided. Redeem your ticket in the Let’s Roam app and begin whenever you like during park hours.
Most of the route uses paved paths and is stroller- and wheelchair-friendly, though a few older sidewalks and curbs may be uneven.
The hunt is best with small groups; teams of 2–6 are ideal, though you can play solo or split into multiple teams.
Shelby Park welcomes dogs on-leash; the tour itself is pet-friendly but keep your phone and attention safe around pets.
Shelby Park and its neighborhood developed alongside the Ohio River’s trade routes; much public art references the area’s industrial and immigrant heritage.
Keep the hunt low-impact: stay on paved paths, pack out trash, and respect public art and private property to help preserve neighborhood character.
