Our popular Sheep & Dog Show at Sheepworld showcases New Zealand's sheep and wool production. Come see our sheepdogs Cruise and Grizz in action. The indoor Show Barn is both educational and interactive, providing an up-close look at sheep farming in New Zealand.Watch as sheep are rounded up by our dogs, sorted by volunteers, and shorn by professional shearers. Learn fascinating facts about sheep, farming, and wool from our presenters.

After the show, explore a farmyard with friendly animals, an eco-trail through native bush, and enjoy our café for refreshments after your visit. Sheepworld is fun and educational for all ages, whatever the weather.

Join our daily interactive feed-out to learn more about the animals. This is great for children to gain confidence in animal handling. Explore at your own pace with small bags of feed available for petting and hand-feeding friendly animals.

Sheepworld Farm and Shop is open 10:00 am to 4:00 pm daily (except Christmas Day) Last entry to the Farm is at 3:30 pm

There is plenty of free parking, with wheelchair and pram access throughout the farm.

Dogs are welcome in the lawn area adjacent to the Café but are not allowed in the Farm area.

What to bring

In hotter months, bring sunscreen, insect repellent, and a hat. In winter, bring a raincoat or umbrella. There are plenty of shaded areas, and our shows are undercover.
