About

Sitting at the base of Mt. Shasta, the origin of the Lower Sac, is Shasta Lake. While the lake is the source of water for much of the state, it is also home to some of the countries best bass fishing. The lake has an abundant population of Spotted Bass and also some Smallmouth and Largemouth. With the recent popularization of Float & Fly fishing, a day on the lake can produce some impressive number of bass.
