The State of New Mexico requires permit holders with either a civilian 4 year or military 5 year permit to take a two-hour midpoint course. During their licensing period after issuance of an original or renewed Concealed Carry permit. This course covers any legal changes, where you can and cannot carry, as well as a required qualification. Live fire is a requirement.
Class Requirements For Courses That Include Time On The Shooting Range
- Closed toe shoes are required
- Eye and Ear protection are required (can be purchase prior to class)
- If you are planning on using Calibers rental firearms, ammunition will need to be purchased from Calibers on the day of your class
- Please do not wear low cut shirts
