Morning light breaks over the Sinai road as the air-conditioned minibus pulls away from Sharm El-Sheikh, salt on your skin and the promise of the Red Sea ahead. By the time you reach Dahab the shoreline unfurls—low cliffs, fishermen’s skiffs, and the glassy reef that dares you in. The day moves in distinct acts: a coastal camel ride, an optional ATV run that threads seaside tracks and scrubby foothills, a shallow reef snorkel near the famous Blue Hole (but not inside it), and a jeep run into the folds of the Colored Canyon for a short guided scramble among banded sandstone.
