Papillon Riding Stables is a Moore Park equestrian centre offering horseback experiences in the Centennial Parklands. The stables runs a range of programs for children, teenagers and adult riders, including private lessons, shared lessons, park rides, pony parties, junior stable days and multi-day junior camps. Each program is conducted in small groups or one-on-one settings in a dedicated arena and on guided park routes through Centennial Park.
Programs for young riders focus on safe, structured learning. The Junior Camp is a three-day program for ages six and up with group riding lessons, park exploration and practical horse care instruction, organised into ability-based teams. The Junior Stable Day and Pony Party provide hands-on grooming, riding and short park rides in a supervised small-group environment. Private Lessons and Shared Lessons offer tailored instruction for beginners through advanced riders with focused coaching on technique, fitness and concentration.
Park Rides deliver guided, one-hour excursions through Centennial Park with coaches leading participants through scenic routes. Lessons and rides emphasise horse welfare, basic horsemanship and rider safety. Sessions take place from the stables in Moore Park, adjacent to Centennial Parklands, providing convenient access to green space in Sydney.
