Follow 2 to 3 hours of lessons in our Sewing Café and you can choose the materials in our store to develop your own tube top & skirt.
You can choose between different sustainable materials in your class. With this lesson you will use our tube top & skirt pattern from De Steek collection.
This lesson is a nice way to learn the basics on the serger (creating the seams) and to learn to work with stretchy materials on the sewing machine (finishings).
What do you learn in this lesson?
• Introduction in cutting stretchy fabric & working with a sewing pattern • Introduction in working on the serger • How to create a basic seam with stretchy materials • How to finish a basic hem with stretch (if needed). • Adding variations, like gatherings and splits.
