Immerse yourself in 16 hours of creative sewing at our Sewing Café, guided by a professional designer. Suitable for all skill levels, you’ll work on personal projects with access to tools and materials. Enjoy a flexible schedule, a cozy coffee corner, and the chance to bring your ideas to life!
Duration: 8 lessons x 2 hours (total of 16 hours)
With this package it is possible to spend a total of 16 hours in our Sewing Café with guidance of a professional to help you with your projects. This package is suitable for both beginners and advanced students. We have a flexible schedule, so it is possible to book the lessons on the days/times of your wishes.
Machines & tools are included in the lessons. Materials you have to provide yourself are fabrics, sewing thread, pins and, when needed, sewing supplies like a zipper or buttons. We also have a little fabric store at our studio, so it is also possible to purchase the materials there. Or we can give you tips in the lessons where to go for extra materials, if needed. You can bring your own ideas to the lessons (photos, drawings, garments or patterns of the pieces you want to create). Together we can see how we can realize your projects. A lot of times we use a similar or basic pattern to adjust or we create our own. Also our store offers a some nice clothing patterns & books. If you work on a specific pattern or project, please send an email first with the sewing pattern or picture/drawing to oost@desteekamsterdam.nl.
Choose your first lesson in the calendar above and after purchase you will receive a coupon code from us, with which you can easily book the remaining lessons later yourself. You can book in slots of 2 hours.
Work on your own sewing projects and get the help of a professional all levels are welcome, also complete beginners, we will teach you the basics on the sewing machine and/or serger sustainable fabric store available next to sewing cafe with offer in fabrics, sewing supplies and sewing patterns. Coffee corner present in sewing cafe in which you can order drinks and bites.
Guidance of fashion designer Andrea is present to help you with your own projects. Use of machines & tools are included in the lessons. Pattern paper and overlock thread is also included. Water and cookies are also at your disposal.

If there is enough space, it’s always possible to extend your stay and pay extra for the hours in class.
**IMPORTANT NOTE:
Did you make a reservation but suddenly you’re not able to come anymore? You can still cancel or change your lesson latest 24 hours before the lesson starts without losing your lesson. If you don't cancel your class in time, regardless of the reason (the deadline is 24 hours before your class starts), it will not be possible to redo the lesson cost-free.
