Join a 3-hour sewing lesson at our Sewing Café and master the art of working with stretchy materials! Guided by fashion designer Andrea van der Kuil, you'll learn to cut fabric, use an overlock machine, and create your own flared leggings. Perfect for beginners or those looking to refresh their skills!

Do you want to get sewing experience with stretchy materials and working with the overlock machine? Then this is a great lesson for you! You will follow a 3 hours of sewing lesson in our Sewing Café and you get all organic materials to develop your own (flared) legging.

This lesson is a good starter if it is the first time working with stretchy materials. You can for example learn to work with the overlock machine (serger). This lesson takes place in our Sewing Cafe and is taught by fashion designer Andrea van der Kuil.

What do you learn in this lesson?

• Introduction in cutting stretchy fabric & working with a sewing pattern • Introduction in working on the serger • How to create a basic seam with stretchy materials • How to finish a waist band with stretch (including elastic) • How to finish a basic hem with stretch

This class takes place in our studio in Amsterdam De Pijp: Eerste Jacob van Campenstraat 40 in Amsterdam.

Please note that for the remainder of February classes will be in our East location at Christiaan de Wetstraat 114 in Amsterdam.

Classes in our new location in De Pijp will only take place from 01 March.
