Explore the beauty of Kenai Fjords National Park from the air before landing on a snow covered glacier where a 6 time winning Iditarod sled dog team is waiting to show you why Dog Mushing is Alaska's State Sport! This unique opportunity to mush on snow in summer has been deemed the highlight of the vacation. The classic Alaskan adventure and our most popular tour! Drive your own sled-dog team on real snow in the middle of summer surrounded by amazing scenery. Start this adventure with a spectacular helicopter ride over glaciers and icebergs. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and mountain goats. Land on a huge snow field high on a glacier and enjoy a whole hour with Dallas Seavey's 6 time Champion Iditarod Alaskan sled dogs and their mushers that live here all summer long. Take the dog team for an exhilarating dogsled ride through real snow. You can stand on the runners and mush your own dog team if you want, or just sit on the sled and let the mushers run the team. The length of this tour makes it perfect for the whole family and we often see three generation having fun together. After your dogsled tour meet the canine athletes that pulled your sled, listen to stories about running sled dog races of over a 1,000 miles long, meet the puppies and of course take pictures with your favorite dogs.. We provide overboots so your shoes stay dry.

PASSENGER WEIGHTS To safely balance the weight distribution of the aircraft, it’s essential that we have accurate weights for all guests. We request your weight at the time of booking so we can plan how to combine parties on the same flight and map out seating. When you check-in at our base for your flight, we confirm all passenger weights by weighing you at that time. If we are unable to fly a guest due to an inaccurate weight provided at the time of booking, no refund will be made.

Weight and balance of helicopters is an important part of our safety program. Seating is assigned based on weight and balance following guidelines which have been approved by the FAA. We cannot guarantee seats as the weight of guests must be balanced within the aircraft.
