Your private tour typically lasts 90 minutes and includes time in the pen with the very friendly milking herd, a visit to the milking parlor, and a walk around the property with your guide who will discuss what it means to manage a working farm. During kidding season, March - May this also includes time with the baby goats. The tour ends with a light cheese sampling in the Hay Loft.
Please Note: Tours go ahead, rain or shine. There will be more barn time if it's pouring with rain. Tours will be rescheduled if weather is deemed dangerous or if there is flooding in the town of Pescadero.
The farm paths are mostly flat but uneven, so sturdy shoes help ensure safe and comfortable walking.
California sun can be strong even in spring and fall—protection from sun exposure is recommended.
Always follow the guide’s instructions when interacting with goats to ensure their safety and yours.
This helps start your tour on time and gives you a moment to relax and enjoy the farm setting before the tour begins.
