About This Adventure

Experience the thrill of Sendy Sundays at Gravity Nelson's Field of Dreams, a unique mountain bike skills park designed for all ages and abilities. With expert coaching, progressive features, and safety-focused airbags, riders can master jumps, drops, and tricks in a supportive environment, ensuring rapid skill development and unforgettable adventures.

About

Fully coached access to Gravity Nelson's Field of dreams including the airbag(s), mulch jump, progressive drops and much more. Sendy Sundays are aimed at all ages of riders including adults and are run in a supportive progressive format to help all riders progress their skills across a wide range of areas including body position, pumping, cornering, drops, jumping and tricks.  These sessions will be scheduled in advance on roughly a monthly basis and require a minimum of 6 people to happen, with a maximum of 20 participants.  You can watch a short video of a recent session from May 2024 on our youtube channel

During winter 2024 we have added a Flat bag to the Field of Dreams in addition to the Lander bag.

Adventure Tips

Arrive Early to Gear Up

Plan to show up at least 15 minutes before your session to complete gear checks and receive a full safety briefing.

Bring Your Own Bike and Helmet

Sessions require a well-maintained mountain bike and a helmet. Rentals are available if arranged in advance.

Progress at Your Own Pace

Use the progressive features—start small and work up to bigger jumps and drops safely with coaching guidance.

Prepare for Variable Weather

Nelson’s climate can shift rapidly; dress in layers and bring waterproof gear to stay comfortable.
