You step off the shaded trail into the slap of spray — Sendang Gile first, a graceful ribbon falling into a shallow pool, then a deeper, mist-charged roar at Tiu Kelep further into the forest. The path begins in Senaru village at the foot of Mount Rinjani and quickly narrows into jungle-scented steps and riverbeds that guide you downstream.

You can usually wade and cool off at Sendang Gile’s shallow pool; at Tiu Kelep swimming depends on conditions — strong currents or heavy flow may make it unsafe, so follow your guide’s directions.
Expect a 20–30 minute trek from Sendang Gile to Tiu Kelep across forested trail and shallow river crossings; it’s uneven but manageable for most reasonably fit visitors.
