Downtown Napa evolved from a 19th-century river trade center into a revitalized arts district after redevelopment projects in the early 2000s; many public works were commissioned during that period.
Local initiatives focus on river restoration and reducing stormwater runoff; respect artworks and support local galleries to sustain cultural restoration efforts.
