With an hour or two onboard the Antaris 630, where the river takes you is completely up to you. Our team are there to advise and give ideas, however, as the self-drive option of the Henley Boating Company, ultimately the route is down to you.

Our Captain, Jim Sneddon, will walk you through how the boat operates, what the safety instructions are, and give his top recommendation on where to visit.

Adventure Tips

Follow Captain Jim’s Safety Briefing

Pay close attention to the skipper’s instructions before departure for a safe, smooth journey on the Thames.

Plan Your Route Ahead

Consult suggested river routes but keep flexibility for weather or sights that capture your interest along the way.

Secure Loose Items

Keep personal belongings safe and waterproof, especially electronics, since the boat is open to the elements.
