Important Information:

The EIGHT HOUR RENEWAL course is for students who possess a CCW Permit and fulfilling their obligation every TWO years to maintain their ccw permit. Spartan Defense is currently approved with the following counties.

Issuing Agency is your Local Police Department or Sheriff Department based on your residency.

Our Instructors come with the highest level of certifications available along with ACTUAL REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE, giving you a better insight to the application of firearms in a self defense world. Our training goes beyond the basics that the law requires and we believe the most thorough training you can get for a CA CCW class. Receive the training your family deserves!

What to Bring

• ALL Firearms to be listed on your CCW Permit
• Ammo- 200 rounds of factory ammo for primary handgun for DRILLS
• Qualification- 36 rounds (50 for Sacramento) for each firearm you wish to qualify with up to 3
• Holster, MUST have a strong side OUTSIDE the waistband holster for EACH firearm. The holster must be worn on shooters waist line, attached by belt, attached to shooters pants. **NO EXCEPTIONS! (See pictures attached or our Equipment video on our RESOURCES page of website)
• Magazine Pouch Recommended (See attached pictures or our RESOURCES page for Equipment and Handgun handling video) Revolvers MUST have 1 speed loader.
• Casual dress/ Flat soled shoes that cover toes/feet.
• Government issued ID
• Baseball style Hat
• Hearing Protection (Electronic is best- Do Not Recommend disposable foam plugs)
• Eye protection (Sunglasses or Eyeglasses are fine, full protection is best)
• Water/Food
• Folding Chair
• Weather needs, Sunscreen/Rain coat
• Great Attitude
