Adventure tips

Bring ID for museum entryUffizi requires a passport or government ID matching booking names — have it ready at the ticket office to avoid denied entry.

Comfortable shoes matterExpect city cobbles and short walks between sites; low-profile, supportive shoes keep you focused on art, not aching feet.

Hydrate and snack beforehandMuseum cafés are limited and timed entries mean you may not have a long break — eat and drink before the tour starts.

Photograph responsiblySome galleries restrict flash and tripods; follow signage and guide instructions to avoid fines or being asked to stop taking pictures.

Recommended gear

Comfortable walking shoes: Supportive flats or trainers for cobbled streets and museum floors.
Light daypack: Holds water, guidebook, and purchases while keeping hands free for photos.
Reusable water bottle: Refill before the tour; hydration is key in summer when museums can feel warm.
Passport or government ID: Required for name verification at the Uffizi ticket office for entry.
