About This Adventure

Embark on an unforgettable 6-hour sailing adventure on Windermere aboard the Seapig, a modern classic yacht. Experience hands-on sailing, learn the ropes, and feel the thrill of the wind in your sails. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch in a serene bay, making this inclusive journey perfect for all ages and abilities.

Duration: 6 Hours

Set sail on Windermere: England's longest lake aboard Seapig a modern classic day yacht.

After leaving the pontoon, we will get you steering as we glide between the moorings under the power of our silent electric engine and onto the wider lake where it's time to hoist the sails.

This experience is all about learning the ropes, stick and flappy bits with straight-up language and a hands-on approach you and your fellow crew will do the vast majority of the tasks that make the boat work.

You will feel the thrill of the wind driving the sails and heeling the boat over and quickly gain the confidence to relax as she heels over and shoots forwards in gusts: safe in the knowledge that this is one of the most stable sailboats on the lake.

For lunch, we anchor in a bay and have a posh picnic (included) and hot drinks as the other boats pass us by before hoisting the sails and setting off again for home.
