Embark on an adventure as we take you by boat to our farm and show you the daily activities of an oyster farm in Casco Bay. Join us as we pick up oyster cages from the water and learn about the aquaculture process. Get a close-up view of our working farm, and enjoy the stunning scenery as we cruise along the bay. Each tour includes an oyster tasting and lasts around 110 minutes, with limited spots to ensure an intimate experience for all guests.

Things to Know

What should I wear?

Wear clothing you don’t mind getting wet or dirty, as we’ll be hauling oyster cages and working on the water. It can be cooler on the water, so layers are recommended. A hat can be helpful for shade, and any type of footwear is fine. If you're coming in cooler months, be sure to bring a jacket, hat, and gloves. Check the weather forecast and dress accordingly.

What if it’s raining?

We operate tours rain or shine! Our boat does not have shelter, so please come prepared for the elements. If the weather is not suitable for the tour, we offer a full refund or the option to reschedule for a better day.

Can I buy oysters after the tour?

Yes! After the tour, you'll have the opportunity to purchase oysters from our farm. Please note, they may not necessarily be the ones you helped harvest, but they are fresh from our farm. We recommend bringing a small cooler with ice to keep your oysters fresh. If you don’t have one, we also sell coolers with bags on-site, available for purchase by cash or credit card.

Can I bring snacks and drinks?

You’re welcome and encouraged to bring your own snacks and beverages to enjoy during the tour—it’s a great way to enhance the experience and make it more relaxing! We do discourage glass containers, so if you do bring any, please check with the captain beforehand.

What’s included in the tour?

As part of your tour, we’ll also offer a tasting of our oysters with mignonette sauce, so you can sample some of our freshest harvests.

Is there a bathroom on the boat?

Unfortunately, there is no bathroom on our boat. The town landing has a porta potty available for use, but we recommend stopping at the Yarmouth Visitor Center near Exit 17 either before or after the tour for restrooms and other amenities.
