About This Adventure

Embark on a unique adventure aboard the specially designed "Wildside" barge, navigating the stunning Coorong National Park. Experience breathtaking views of freshwater lakes, observe local wildlife, and enjoy a gourmet morning tea amidst picturesque sand hills. With an informative skipper and a small group, this tour promises an intimate and memorable experience.

The new especially designed "Wildside", a drop front barge allows us to get into places larger vessels cant. Travel through the glorious Coorong National Park and get a glimpse of the fresh water lakes at the barrages. The largest freshwater lake in the southern hemisphere is separated from the salt water of the Coorong.

About

Enjoy a scenic boat ride and observe the birds wheeling overhead, see the seals lazing on the barrage structures before enjoying a gourmet morning tea at the foot of some amazing sand hills. Skipper Glen will provide an informative commentary and answer all of your questions.

For a special event date or exclusive tour contact us for private tour prices. Comfortable walking shoes, spare socks, hat (ideally a broad brim with a toggle to keep it from flying off) and sunscreen, jacket, camera, binoculars (if you have them and want to maximise viewing of birdlife), extra drinks (if you would like). We supply bottled water.

This tour will require moderate fitness - the shore walk will cover elements of hard compacted ground, soft sand dunes, sandy beach. Must be able to get in and out of a boat at the jetty

Be prepared for boat boarding
