By far our most popular tour – we spend our time on the water around the quaint village of Ballyvaughan, with clear views into Galway City, and in the shadow of the limestone mountains of the Burren – this tour is an unforgettable experience!
We have five different paddling locations from the meeting point in Ballyvaughn.
As we explore the rugged coastline, including small inlets and tidal islands, we are often greeted by friendly seals and magnificent sea birds, as well as the underwater beauty that the crystal clear water affords us.
Delve into Irish history as we paddle to the ruins of Gleninagh Castle and it’s nearby Holywell. Here we might take a break from the kayaks to wander the ancient grounds or we might stop on a nearby sandy beach that becomes an island on a high tide.
This is a tour not to be missed! Whether experienced paddler or not, this tour is perfect for all levels and ages!
