Participants can explore the rugged natural coastline as their skills develop. There are fantastic opportunities for rock hopping and half and full day guided journeys. B-Active offers courses for people to learn and develop the basic sea kayaking skills. From our superb base in Rhoscolyn, we have a range of options for sea kayakers at all levels to find challenge and reward.

Bespoke sessions and guided geology and wildlife trips for small groups can also be arranged, so please do contact us to check our availability.

Highlights

The coastline is stunning, and attracts international visitors on a regular basis. There are caves, inlets, coves and beautiful beaches. There is plenty to see, with stunning rock scenery and seals and sea-birds in profusion on the outlying stacks and islands. Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula provide a wonderful mountain backdrop to many of the trips.

Important to Know

Our sea kayaking sessions are targeted at people aged 16 plus. Our Introductory sessions are primarily run on the west coast out of Borthwen beach Rhoscolyn. With so many isolated coves, islands and sea caves there is always plenty to see and explore. You will be supported in doing this by an experienced local instructor helping you to learn the skills and acting as your guide.
