The goal of this course is to introduce participants with kayaking and its equipments. After completing the course the participant will gain knowledge: how to use kayak, how to paddle, rescue techniques. In addition, the participant will be introduced with basic security procedures and drills, as well as how effectively maneuver the kayak.

Important information

• Every participant needs to be able to swim for 50 meters. • The courses run with a minimum of four people booked in. If we do not reach this minimum, we will get in touch with you and either reschedule you to another date or refund you the full amount.

Adventure Tips

Bring layered wool clothing under dry suits

Wool insulates even when wet and keeps you warm beneath the provided dry suits.

Practice basic swimming skills before the course

Participants must be able to swim at least 50 meters to handle water conditions safely.

Pack waterproof bags thoughtfully

Use small dry bags that fit the kayak’s narrow hatches for easy access and to keep gear dry.

Arrive 15 minutes early for course check-in

This allows time to get fitted with gear and receive safety briefings before heading out.
