The Trip: It is a coastal sea exploration trip through kayaking.

Our single sit-on-top kayaks are light watercraft that can be used by individuals with no kayaking experience for a fun exploration of some of the most scenic coastlines in Cyprus. The water is usually crystal clear with light blue colours.

Pickup time (we may be able to offer a free ride in our company car from the free part of Nicosia): To be agreed with the travelers. The trip starts at 09:00.

Pickup location: At an agreed place (eg hotel in Nicosia).

Itinerary: We start from Ammos Kampouri beach and we kayak west upto and along the Agia Napa Sea Caves, including Lovers' Bridge, and back.

The trip is only offered at the time when it is allowed to enter or go close to Agia Napa Sea Caves (usually from the beginning of May until the end of October)

Depending on time availability, sea conditions and customers profile and preferences, we may be able also to do further west for some distance, towards Cape Greko and back.

The basic kayaking route: Along Agia Napa Sea Caves (2.5 km / 1.5 mi) (from Ammos tou Kampouri beach going west and back).

Transportation: The package doesnot include transportation. If travellers are interested, the guide may be able to offer them a free ride in the company's private car from/to the free part of Nicosia.

Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions.

Each single kayak has a listed maximum capacity of 125 kg. It is very likely that the ride will not be comfortable for payloads of more than 100 kg. We only accept payloads that are under 100 kg.

Travelers can present either a paper or an electronic voucher for this activity. Minors can participate provided they are escorted by their parent(s). In case of forecasted choppy sea we would offer the possibility of a kayaking trip between Green Bay and Fig Tree Bay. The travellers also would have the option to cancel the trip (with full refund of course).

As a rule, unless other arrangements are agreed beforehand, the trip is guided by Phivos, either in the English or the Greek language. Phivos also speaks good German, good Spanish, elementary French and elementary Mandarin.

The trip will be cancelled if weather forecast is not good.

What to bring

Water is a must (though one could buy in Agia Napa). Sun protection, bathing suite, snorkelling equipment, towels (especially if we provide a free ride in our company car). Please keep in mind that while we do provide things like a dry bag, travellers should be clear that they would probably get wet and they should not bring along things that could be damaged by salt water. The kayaks are light, only 18 kilograms each and can go relatively fast, depending also on the weight on them. There is some storage place on them. At the same time, people should keep in mind that increasing the weight on the sea kayaking, increases the work they would need to do to move the kayak forward.
