Duration: 3 Hours
Enjoy an evening paddling through the sunset exploring the English Riviera Unesco Global Geopark. You will visit several sights of specific scientific interest (SSSI's) before stopping on a wild secluded beach to hunt for fossils, forage a special marine herb that we will then use to flavour our fresh line-caught Mackerel (or other white fish) fillets on hot-stones for your dinner. This will be accompanied by local breads, salads and a glass of Prosseco.
Due to being out through the evening we recommend that you wear layered clothing on top, active walking clothes, gym leggings or waterproof trousers. Conditions can change, but we outfit you with any technical clothing that you may require [waterproof oil skinned thermal jackets that have a spray deck and hood that will keep you mostly dry]. If it's super warm you may prefer to wear beach clothes but bring a layer for sitting on the beach by the fire.
Weather can change quickly along the coast, so dressing in layers ensures comfort during your paddle and food experience.
A waterproof jacket or cover helps keep you dry during paddling or if weather shifts unexpectedly.
