In our Class Session we will review topics relating to the tools we use for Navigation, Search Patterns, how we go about finding objects and then safely recovering them to the surface.

We will then practice those techniques in the pool and gain familiarity with our new equipment and communication skills.

Then when we meet in Monterey, we will begin our day on the lawn at San Carlos Beach and do some dry runs of using triangulation, running different search patterns, working as buddy teams, and creating a basic dive plan.

Then we hop in the ocean and test our accuracy on the first dive by ___________. You will be working in teams to locate and bring various objects to the surface.

Search & Recovery is a fun and challenging way to put your navigational skills to the test and also learn new team building skills and learn to use new equipment. Mastering Search & Recovery takes time and practice but will allow you to have fun and be safe while hunting for lost treasures by knowing where you are and how to get them home.

This year we will be hosting a couple of Treasure Hunt Fun Dives in Monterey to provide folks with a silly fun way to refine their skills- we hope you'll join us!
