What to Expect

Your adventure begins with a scenic walk down the park’s beautiful boardwalk, where you’ll be guided to our private diver staging area equipped with benches and plenty of space to gear up. Just steps from the spring’s edge, this area offers an a staging area for our guests to gear up.

Once in the water, you’ll follow our experienced dive leader downstream on a relaxed shore-based drift dive. Blue Spring’s consistent 72°F / 22°C temperatures and excellent visibility make it a diver’s paradise year-round. Along the way, keep an eye out for native freshwater species such as:

Catfish, Bass, Brim, and Longnose Gar, Turtles and Florida Manatees (wildlife sightings not guaranteed)

This is a group dive, meaning you’ll be diving alongside other certified divers. Your guide will supervise and lead the group, while each diver is expected to monitor their own air supply, buoyancy, and bottom time according to their certification level. Requirements & Rules

To participate, you must:

Be an active certified scuba diver

Divers who have not been active must have a refresher course or book a Private Dive Guide.

Be comfortable diving in a group setting

Be able to swim independently and manage your own dive plan (air/time/buoyancy)

Stay with the group and follow guide direction

The following are strictly prohibited:

Touching, harassing, or approaching manatees

Disturbing or collecting fossils, rocks, or artifacts

Climbing or standing on embankments or spring walls

Carving or defacing natural surfaces or formations

Does not include Cave/Cavern or any overhead diving. Recreational Single Back Mount Only

Max depths can vary depending on season. Spring Head Depth 120ft/36.5m Spring Run 3-12ft/1-4m.
